Poland: V International Congress on Religious Tourism and Pilgrimages

The fifth edition of the International Congress on Religious Tourism and Pilgrimages will take place from October 31 to November 4, 2024 in Krakow, Poland.
Krakow and the Malopolska region have enormous potential in the area of religious tourism and pilgrimages. This is confirmed not only by the millions of pilgrims and religious tourists who travel there (e.g. the World Youth Day organized in Krakow in 2016), but also by the success of the previous editions of the Congress.
The Congress will begin on November 1 with opening speeches, presentations and a visit to Krakow.
On November 1, 2 and 3, guests from all over the world will visit Krakow and Malopolska (the Old Town in Krakow, the salt mines in Wieliczka, the former Nazi German concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau, the parish and the birthplace of the Holy Father in Wadowice and the shrine of the Black Madonna in Czestochowa.
The aim of the Congress is the exchange of business contacts among the participants, the promotion of Krakow and Malopolska as an important destination for religious tourism and pilgrimage in the international area, and the consolidation of the importance of religious tourism in the context of the global tourism industry.
Representatives of foreign travel agencies and tour operators, bishops and priests, bloggers and journalists and other organizers of religious tourism and pilgrimage, such as diocesan coordinators, heads of foundations and congregations interested in organizing trips to Poland (buyers - buyers) are invited to participate.
Other Polish or foreign subjects, such as local governments, organizations promoting cities and regions, places of worship - pilgrimage destinations, tourist sites, museums, etc., can participate in the congress as sellers.
