The Aroma of Travel

Conversations

The Aroma of Travel is an initiative of the World Cocoa and Derivatives Tourism Destinations Network, program promoted by the Tourism and Society Think Tank and led by Amora Carbajal Schumacher.

Its main objective is to explore the rich history of cocoa and its transformation into products such as chocolate, promoting sustainable tourism that values and respects the territories and communities linked to this heritage. The proposal is materialised through conservatories that bring together personalities from all over the world, experts and enthusiasts of cocoa and its derivatives, who share their knowledge and experiences.

These conversations aim to create a space for dialogue and exchange to deepen the relationship between cocoa, its origins and its impact on local communities. They also aim to inspire participants to appreciate and learn more about the cultural, historical and economic importance of cocoa in tourist destinations linked to this industry.
