Pilar Valdés Arroyo
General Manager
Pilar has been a professional lover of the tourism sector for more than 35 years. She is an expert in the creation, promotion and marketing of tourism products, in Tourism Quality Systems and in advertising and communication within this sector. She was born in Benidorm (Alicante). She has a degree in Tourism, a degree in Advertising and Public Relations and a Master in Hotel Management. She is a university expert in Tourism and International Cooperation for Development by the UNWTO and is currently studying for a PhD in Religious Tourism. Pilar was for many years linked to the regional administration in Spain as Product Manager in the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia as an expert in Cultural and Religious Product. She was the creator and promoter of the Tourism Quality Area (Q for Tourism Quality and SICTED Projects) and Quality Director of the network of Tourist Offices in the Region of Murcia.
She has led the national and international promotion of regional strategic projects such as the 2017 Holy Year of Caravaca de la Cruz, the International Marketing Project for tourism marketing and promotion, leading more than 20 accounts of national and international tour operators and wholesalers for the expansion and promotion of institutional brand through marketing campaigns on and offline. Throughout his years of professional career, he has been and is a speaker at congresses, conferences and presentations at national and international level: the Spanish Tourism Quality System (Q for
Tourist Quality) and SICTED. Permanent and active member of the Working Group on Tourism Quality (GT-CT) of Autonomous Communities and the Secretary of State as well as of several Sectorial Committees of AENOR. Member of the Regional Tourism Boards as president of Turlingua and vice-president of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs and Executives of her region. And she has been Territorial Delegate of the National Association of Tourism Professionals until June 2024.
She has been CEO of the World Network since January 2024. She loves traveling, movies and reading everything related to motivation and personal productivity.
Edit Székely
Territory Manager for Europe
With a solid background in international communication, economics and engineering, Edit Székely has dedicated more than 30 years to strengthening ties between cultures and markets around the world. Entrepreneur, diplomat and cultural promoter, her career includes outstanding international projects and promoting tourism as a strategic axis in her missions in countries such as Hungary, Peru, Italy, Romania and Spain. Currently based in Madrid, she previously served as attaché for economic and commercial affairs, vice-consul and director of the Hungarian program at Expo Milano 2015.
Edit has led key projects such as the European Capital of Culture Pécs 2010 and the Hungarian Presidency of the EU in 2011, organizing international cultural events, demonstrating her versatility and global vision. He has received multiple recognitions, such as the Shield of Honor of the Centro Riojano de Madrid and awards for his work in the promotion of culture and sports at the international level.
She speaks five languages fluently, which has allowed her to lecture at universities such as Pázmány Péter in Budapest, highlighting her experience in cultural diplomacy. As vice-president of the WINK International Association, she contributes to the development of international projects, while her volunteer work in sports championships reinforces her commitment to sport and youth.
Her passion for innovation, travel and design complement a profile that combines leadership, creativity and diplomacy. Thanks to her background, she knows personalities from the different European religions and that, together with her experience in energizing the business sector, will allow the Network to grow in Europe in the coming years in a sustained and sustainable way, involving this sector in the development of tourism policies within religious tourism.
Adrian Lomello
Territorial Director for the Americas
Adrián Nelso Lomello has a degree in Social Communication (UNR, 1982), a Master's Degree in New Information and Communication Technologies (UNED, Spain, 2001) and is a Specialist in Educational TV (Catholic University of Chile, 1984). He is a National Broadcaster with ISER card and has extensive experience in ecclesial communication, education and communication strategies.
He is currently Episcopal Delegate for Communications of the Diocese of Mar del Plata and directs the Diploma in Diocesan Communication of the University School of Theology of the Bishopric. His career includes directing communications in institutions such as FASTA and Universidad Santo Tomás de Chile.
Among his achievements, he highlights his role as international consultant in communicational image for Open Air Shopping Centers (BID/CAME, 2008-2015) and his leadership in e-learning projects. He founded SVEG DESARROLLOS SRL (1998-2018), developing more than 70 commercial portals, and advised programs such as the Senior Citizens of the Inhabitants to Citizens Forum (2010-2014).
He has held academic and managerial positions, including the direction of the School of Communications at FASTA University (1999-2008), the founding of the National Speech career in agreement with ISER (1994-1997) and the coordination of postgraduate programs at the National University of Mar del Plata (2011-2014).
In media, he was Director of LRA 15 Radio Nacional Tucumán (1993-1997), Interventor at Radio Nacional Salta (1995-1996), and journalist at Canal 8 de Tucumán (1986-1995). He is also a founding member of Casa Social San José Obrero and of the Communications Council of the Bishopric of Mar del Plata.
