The Tourism and Society Think Tank, in collaboration with the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals, has presented a series of innovative initiatives aimed at promoting tourism destinations, companies and institutions through the strategic use of video as a key marketing tool. This collaboration stems from the growing importance of visual content in travellers' decisions, where video has become a powerful medium to inspire and motivate tourists to discover new destinations and experiences.

The proposed actions include audiovisual campaigns designed to highlight the authenticity and uniqueness of destinations, taking advantage of digital platforms and social networks to reach global audiences. Likewise, the organisation of tourism video festivals and competitions is proposed, which not only promote the destination, but also involve local communities and filmmakers in the creation of content that reflects their culture and identity.

The use of video allows for more direct and emotional communication, which is essential to connect with potential tourists in an information-saturated market. In addition, it seeks to foster collaboration between different tourism stakeholders, creating synergies that amplify the impact of promotional campaigns.

Following the agreement between the Tourism and Society Think Tank (TSTT) and the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT), it has been established that all TSTT members benefit from a €350 discount when entering a single video or series in the CIFFT 2023 Circuit.
