Mayor Diego Carballo highlighted the main attractions of Villa del Rosario, a growing city within the religious tourism in the interior of Córdoba. Located in the Department of Río Segundo, this town has positioned itself as an important tourist destination thanks to its chapels, sanctuaries and museums.

According to the mayor, Villa del Rosario has bet on regional tourism, covering the whole province. We have been promoting the Tourist Religious Circuit. The city has a very important religious origin, highlighting the Basilica Menor, the most important in the province.

Carballo pointed out that Villa del Rosario has been the cradle of numerous priests who now serve in different churches of the country. Around the Basilica, many chapels have been developed, creating a circuit that allows visitors to learn about the religious history of the town.

The city's Parish is about to turn 320 years old, while the Basilica dates back to 1984. Some of the highlights of the circuit include the Villa del Rosario Cultural Complex, the San José Obrero Oratory, the Claretian Missionaries Building, the Immaculate Heart of Mary Adorers Chapel, and the Municipal Cemetery.
