Albert Sánchez Gamboa 

Costa Rica

Albert Sánchez Gamboa is a Costa Rican entrepreneur with a distinguished career in the cacao and chocolate industry. He resides in San José and holds a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Hospitality from the Latin University of Costa Rica. Additionally, he has completed programs in Corporate Governance at Yale School of Management and Brand Strategies and Positioning at INCAE Business School.

In 2018, he founded AraCacao Chocolate, where he serves as General Manager. He has eight years of experience in the cacao industry, focusing on sourcing raw materials through direct trade with local producers and producing chocolate under the artisanal "Bean to Bar" process. He is also a certified Level 2 taster in the physical and organoleptic analysis of cacao and chocolate, following the protocols of Cacao of Excellence and the International Institute of Chocolate and Cacao Tasting.

Since 2021, Albert has been a member of the Central American and Dominican Republic Cacao Committee (SICACAO), representing the private sector of Costa Rica, and has been part of the coordinating committee since 2022, contributing to the development of the sector at a regional level.
