There are many ways in which consumers in Latin America and the Caribbean receive money. The majority, 67%, do so through bank transfers, 43% receive cash, and 14% receive funds through other digital means, such as apps and digital wallets.1

The fact that consumers are prepared to use various means of digital payments for shopping, saving and investing shows a significant change in the banking landscape.
