Peru strengthens tourism leadership through historic international marketplace

Peru Travel Mart 2026 has consolidated its position as one of Latin America’s leading tourism business platforms, projecting nearly 19 million dollars in tourism-related transactions while strengthening the country’s international presence in strategic markets. This new edition of the event brings together in Lima more than 190 international buyers, tourism entrepreneurs, and specialized media representatives from 29 countries, reflecting growing global interest in Peru’s tourism offerings.

Organized by the National Chamber of Tourism of Peru in coordination with PROMPERÚ, the event seeks to strengthen commercial partnerships, expand investment opportunities, and promote the country’s tourism diversity through a strategy focused on sustainability, decentralization, and international promotion. The gathering brings together tour operators, hotels, travel agencies, airlines, and representatives from complementary service sectors, all participating in hundreds of pre-scheduled business meetings with international buyers interested in incorporating new Peruvian destinations into their commercial portfolios.
