The visit of Pope Leo XIV to Spain is already beginning to reshape the political, social, and economic atmosphere of Madrid, where regional authorities estimate an economic impact of up to 120 million euros. The pontiff’s arrival, scheduled between June 6 and June 12, is expected to draw thousands of pilgrims, tourists, journalists, and institutional representatives from around the world, turning the Spanish capital into one of the main centers of international attention for several days.

The regional government has been working for weeks on one of the largest logistical and security operations seen in recent years. The scale of the event will require reinforced transportation services, emergency medical assistance, public support systems, and police deployment to ensure the smooth execution of the official agenda. Authorities estimate that more than 14,000 security personnel will take part in the operation designed to accompany the religious leader throughout his stay.
