New leadership at the National Union of Travel Agencies (Spain)

01-04-2026

The Spanish Association of Travel Agencies (UNAV) has entered a new phase following the appointment of César Gutiérrez as president for the 2026–2030 term. His unanimous election marks a turning point for the sector, with a strong focus on business integration and enhanced institutional representation.

Gutiérrez, who previously led the Federation of Territorial Associations of Spanish Travel Agencies (Fetave), was the sole candidate for the position, reflecting broad internal consensus around his leadership and strategic vision.

One of the key pillars of his mandate will be the integration of UNAV and Fetave, described as a historic milestone for the industry.
