Seville Spain) becomes the world capital of AI in tourism
30-09-25
The sixth edition of the Tourism Innovation Summit (TIS2025) promises to transform Seville into the global showcase of artificial intelligence applied to tourism, from October 22 to 24. This internationally ambitious gathering will bring together more than 8,000 professionals and over 400 high-level speakers who will explore how AI is changing the way trips are planned, how travelers connect with brands, and how destinations are managed.
This boom is no coincidence. According to the Connected Journeys report by Amadeus and Opinium, 24% of Spanish travelers have already used AI tools in 2025 to organize their vacations, a figure that doubles last year’s percentage. This evolution shows that artificial intelligence is no longer a promise, but a central pillar in redefining tourism experiences.
During TIS2025, the Tourism Innovation Global Summit will serve as the main stage of innovation. Experts such as Alessandro Petazzi (Lastminute.com), Andrea d’Amico (WeRoad), Tina O'Dwyer (The Tourism Space), Damien Corchia (Decathlon Travel), and Iker Llano (Intelier Hotels & Suites) will share cutting-edge visions and initiatives. Major players like Google, TikTok, Hyatt, IHG, Hotelbeds, and Timeleft will also present global trends and case studies.
One of the congress’s main focuses will be the transformation of social media: from purely social platforms to powerful travel search engines. Speakers such as Anna Grigoryan (HBX Group) and Dan Christian (Travel Trends Podcast) will show how AI enables personalized content, dynamic pricing optimization, and more proactive customer service, narrowing the gap between brands and travelers.
