Dubai has consolidated its position as one of the world's most sought-after tourist destinations. In the first quarter of 2025, the city welcomed 5.3 million international tourists, representing an increase of 3% compared to the same period last year. This sustained growth reflects the effectiveness of the strategies implemented by the Emirati authorities to attract visitors and diversify its economy.
Western Europe stood out as the main source region, contributing more than one million travellers, equivalent to 22% of the total. It was followed by Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States with 17%, the Gulf Cooperation Council with 15%, South Asia with 14% and the Middle East and North Africa region with 12%.
Dubai's hotel sector also showed positive signs. The average daily rate (ADR) reached 154 euros, an increase of 2% over the previous year. In addition, 11.2 million occupied nights and a revenue per available room (RevPAR) of 126 euros were recorded.
