FASTA University and the World Religious Tourism Network are organising an online event to discuss the new opportunities in the sector.
FASTA University, in collaboration with the World Religious Tourism Network, invites you to participate in the webinar ‘Religious tourism: a new tourism scenario?’, a space for reflection on the present and future of religious and spiritual tourism. The event will take place on Monday 17 March 2025, at 19:00 hours (Argentina), online and free of charge through the Zoom platform.
The keynote speaker will be Mr. Adrián Lomello, Territorial Director for the Americas of the World Religious Tourism Network, a programme of the Tourism and Society Think Tank, who will share his vision on current trends in the sector, success stories and new professional opportunities within this ever-growing segment.
Religious tourism: a growing industry
Religious and spiritual tourism has established itself as an activity of great economic and social impact, promoting intercultural dialogue, heritage preservation and sustainable development of tourist destinations. In this context, the webinar will seek to offer an analysis of the evolution of the sector and the opportunities it presents for professionals, entrepreneurs and tourist destinations.
The event is aimed at students, tourism professionals, academics, destination managers and all those interested in learning about the potential of religious tourism today.
