The Primate Cathedral of Toledo has officially launched its communication campaign to commemorate its 800th anniversary. This new phase is presented to the world under the emotional slogan: “Come and feel the heartbeat of the heart of Toledo”—an invitation that positions the Cathedral as the spiritual, cultural, and human epicenter of the city. The campaign seeks to connect with both residents and visitors through the powerful symbol of the heart: an organ that has been beating for eight centuries, keeping the essence of Toledo alive.

The launch event, held on Thursday, May 29, was presided over by the Archbishop of Toledo, Monsignor Francisco Cerro Chaves, and attended by the Cathedral’s Dean, Juan Pedro Sánchez Gamero; Manuel Salas, representing Ábside Media Producciones; and Jacobo Menéndez Represa, from AM Studio. In his speech, the Dean emphasized the Cathedral’s enduring significance throughout the centuries: “This temple has been the heart beating at the center of Toledo—not only as a symbol of Christian faith but also as a meeting point and a living testimony of generations who have left their mark here.”
