San Luis de Potosí becomes the first municipality in Mexico to join the World Network

The municipality of San Luis de Potosí has been recognized as the first founding affiliated member of the World Religious Tourism Network, reinforcing its commitment to development, international collaboration, and the global promotion of its values and culture.
The official membership took place on January 22 during the International Tourism Fair of Madrid -FITUR, where the founding affiliated member diploma was awarded to the mayor of San Luis de Potosí, Mr. Enrique Galindo, and Ms. Claudia Peralta, in a solemn ceremony attended by a senator of the country and other distinguished authorities. Also present at this important event was Mr. Antonio Santos del Valle, president of the Tourism and Society Think Tank, who accompanied the municipal representatives during this significant moment.
San Luis de Potosí’s incorporation into the World Network marks a crucial step in the municipality's internationalization strategy, enabling connections with other cities and entities worldwide to share experiences, projects, and initiatives focused on sustainable and cultural development.
