The trade and promotional mission is composed of specialized tour operators, sector leaders, and representatives of innovative business models, with the purpose of developing a high-level institutional and commercial agenda aimed at strengthening strategic networks, consolidating international partnerships, and generating new opportunities for business, investment, cooperation, and tourism promotion. In this context, the delegation will include the participation of the Armenia and Quindío Chamber of Commerce, the Government of Quindío, the Mayor’s Office of Armenia, the Quindío Convention Bureau, and six local tour operator agencies, all joining efforts to enhance the destination’s positioning and stimulate high-impact commercial relationships.
During the days of the fair, the delegation will carry out an intensive agenda focused on establishing meetings with public institutions, multilateral organizations, international tour operators, buyers, airlines, destinations, media outlets, and strategic partners, with the aim of consolidating cooperation agreements, commercial routes, joint promotion initiatives, and connectivity schemes that enhance the visibility of Armenia and Quindío in global markets.
According to the institutional communication issued, the priority will be to create coordination spaces that support territorial development, the creation of high-value tourism products, and the expansion of commercial networks integrating nature, culture, wellness and health, luxury tourism, sports tourism, and the meetings and events industry.
The participation of the Governor of Quindío and the Mayor of Armenia in this important forum demonstrates that the destination has prioritized sustainable tourism development and seeks to strengthen actions that continue to position the territory as the leading destination for tourism within Colombia’s Coffee Region.
