Tourism Summit 2025 Budapest: Shaping the future of travel

Visit Hungary has announced the Tourism Summit 2025 Budapest, to be held on October 14 and 15 in the Hungarian capital. With a renewed format, this year’s edition offers a fresh, forward-looking approach, bringing together global experts, visionaries, business leaders, and innovators to address the challenges of the tourism sector and explore the opportunities shaping the future of travel.

The Tourism Summit 2025 Budapest aims to share strategies, technologies, and best practices that support sustainable development. Through keynotes, workshops, and roundtables, participants will explore how digitalization, artificial intelligence, and data-driven strategies are revolutionizing travel experiences and business models worldwide.

The program will feature internationally renowned speakers, including Omar Hatamleh, Nick Hall, Ada Xu, Dr. Xavier Font, Chris Müller, Attila Szalay-Berzeviczy, Dr. Barbara Neuhofer, and Joshua-Ryan Saha, who will address topics such as global megatrends, the role of digital platforms, sustainability expectations, the impact of mega-events, and innovative approaches to destination management. Special attention will be given to MICE tourism, with sessions dedicated to ESG criteria and measuring the social and economic impact of events.

In addition to the conference program, Tourism Summit 2025 Budapest will include an exhibition area featuring technology providers and educational institutions. In collaboration with universities and young professionals, the event will give a prominent role to the next generation of leaders.
