Spain: The Easter Week Board of Medina del Campo becomes a founding member of the World Religious Tourism Network

Last Easter Sunday, a symbolic day for its message of hope and joy, was a new milestone for the Junta de Semana Santa de Medina del Campo as it became a Founding Member of the World Religious Tourism Network.
The Territorial Director for Europe of the WTRN, Edit Székely, participated in the mass and the subsequent procession of the Encounter, and presented the certificate of membership to David Muriel, president of the Easter Week Board.
The presence of Mrs. Székely highlighted the international projection of Medina del Campo and its Holy Week.
The World Religious Tourism Network is a programme of Tourism and Society Think Tank, made up of professional experts in tourism and society. The aim of the World Religious Tourism Network is to promote tourism and religious culture in all continents of the world, to create opportunities for new destinations and to strengthen the leadership of those religious destinations that are most recognised.
