SACRUM 2024 - Universe of the Sacred

SACRUM 2024, the 1st International Fair of Religious Heritage, will be held from October 25 to 27, 2024 at the Palacio de Congresos in Torremolinos (Malaga), consolidating its position as the leader of this type of event in Spain. In its 6000 m² of exhibition space, the event will bring together the highlights of art, industry and business related to religious heritage, with a special focus on the Catholic religion, its confraternities, congregations and the extensive productive fabric that supports this sector.

SACRUM 2024 has the collaboration and active participation of the Global Network of Religious and Spiritual Tourism Destinations, a program of the Tourism and Society Think Tank (TSTT). The objective is to position this event at an international level and make it a benchmark within the sector. In this edition, both the CEO of the Global Network, Ms. Pilar Gómez, and the president of the Tourism and Society Think Tank, Mr. Antonio, will participate as speakers during the opening day of the event. In addition, on the following day, they will lead an International Roundtable addressing the challenges and opportunities of religious tourism and sacred heritage globally.

SACRUM 2024 will also bring together tourism entities related to pilgrimages and the Holy Places, as well as promoters and companies that play a crucial role in the value chain of religious heritage. In short, it will be a meeting point for all the actors involved in this sector, promoting the exchange of experiences and knowledge.

This event is positioned as the first of its kind in Spain, following in the wake of consolidated international fairs such as Koinè in Italy, GLORIA in Germany and Sacroexpo in Poland. With a broad vision that encompasses both Europe and Latin America, SACRUM 2024 offers a space for sharing faith, devotion and tradition, pillars that unite the Catholic communities of both continents.

In addition, a Business Club and a Scientific Forum will be organized, encouraging debate and reflection on the sacred art market and its impact. Among its objectives are the promotion of sacred art in Spain, the dissemination of the wealth of the confraternities, and the creation of a plural forum to analyze trends and opportunities in the sector.

With the participation of 10 countries, 300 exhibitors and an expected 20,000 visitors, SACRUM 2024 will be an unforgettable event. From religious art to sacred tourism, it will be a unique sensory experience, with live sacred music, incense in the air and a special architectural setting.
