UNWTO seeks to promote rural tourism collaboration

The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has launched TourismConnectsRural, a platform designed to facilitate internal communication, enabling villages to exchange experiences and knowledge, and participate in master classes focused on the growth of tourism as a driver of rural development. Key features of the platform include:
Experience sharing: villages can share their unique experiences, knowledge and best practices through the platform, or work together on specific topics creating a dynamic knowledge ecosystem.
Masterclasses: a full bank of masterclasses will enable villages to improve their sustainable tourism skills and practices.
Interactive communication: the platform enables real-time interaction, allowing villagers to engage in meaningful conversations, ask questions and collaborate effortlessly.
Event hub: villages can showcase their events and stay informed about special occasions, fostering a sense of community through information sharing.
