In 2023, Miami Beach earned top titles as a premier destination, including "World's Leading Lifestyle Destination," marking a year of global recognition.

In early 2023, Miami Beach garnered major accolades, earning the titles of "Leading Beach Destination in North America" and "Leading City Destination in North America" from a well-respected travel industry organization.

This renowned location has now achieved further recognition as "World's Leading Lifestyle Destination 2023" by the World Travel Awards. This adds another feather to Miami Beach's cap of honors received throughout 2023.

Famous for its diversity and the plethora of experiences it offers visitors, Miami Beach boasts an impressive collection of public art, numerous museums and galleries, an array of world-class luxury hotels and spas, and culinary delights from established and emerging chefs.

Miami Beach invites tourists to explore a city rich in architectural heritage and design, nestled among iconic waters.

The area offers a variety of activities to enjoy its natural splendor and lifestyle, including water sports, beachside yoga and culinary options focused on invasive species and sustainable practices to protect marine life.

In the past year, Miami Beach and the Visitors and Convention Authority have invested in immersive technology, including the launch of the EXP Miami Beach Tours app, available on Google Play and Apple.

This app offers users a multitude of lifestyle itinerary options, such as visits to cultural institutions, public art, art deco, LGBTQ+ experiences and more.

To reinforce its status as a global lifestyle leader, Miami Beach will participate in the inaugural Open House Miami event, scheduled for March 1-2, 2024. Miami Beach will be the fourth U.S. city to join this international initiative, following New York, San Diego and Chicago.

Open House Miami aims to encourage community involvement in shaping the future and celebrating historic design and architecture. The event will offer free access to a variety of notable Miami Beach buildings, allowing visitors to connect, learn and participate in meaningful discussions and debates.
