Costa Rica: Fundepredi extends registration deadline for the Specialization in Accessible and Inclusive Tourism programs

Fundación para el Desarrollo del Turismo Inclusivo (Fundepredi), in response to the growing interest and demand for training in inclusive tourism, announces an extension of the registration deadline for its innovative Specialization Program in Accessible and Inclusive Tourism for All. The new deadline for enrollment will be until August 11, 2024.
Fundepredi's Specialization Program is designed to train professionals in the tourism sector to create inclusive and accessible experiences for all. The extended registration deadline provides an additional opportunity for more participants to join this crucial initiative to foster more equitable and accessible tourism.
Program details
The program offers comprehensive training in the principles and practices of accessible and inclusive tourism, covering key areas such as:
Fundamentals of Accessible and Inclusive Tourism: Knowledge on the importance and principles of inclusive tourism.
Regulations and Legislation: Information on relevant laws and regulations.
Design of Accessible Spaces and Services: Strategies for adapting facilities and services.
Inclusive Customer Service: Skills to provide exceptional service to all travelers.
Inclusive Marketing and Communication: Methods to promote inclusive tourism destinations.
Teaching methodology
This program is offered in virtual mode, so all learning activities are developed in the institutional virtual platform Moodle in an asynchronous way, and from which the processes of communication and interaction among the participants are carried out through the different activities proposed.
The Moodle virtual platform will be the main means of communication and interaction of the course, where you will find all the contents, materials, activities and other resources, which will allow a significant learning, promoting self-regulation and self-evaluation of their own learning process.
Those who pass the Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Program for all people will receive a digital certificate indicating the number of hours -72- and the grade obtained; it is signed by representatives of the UNED and the Costa Rican Network of Accessible Tourism.

Requirements
Participants are required to have: internet connection, computer, speakers and microphone or headphones.
