The fair is organized on a system of pre-established appointments in two modalities, individual (one-to-one appointments) or group presentations (group appointments). In this edition, almost half of the exhibiting companies have increased the size of their stands and all market sectors have grown, most of them in double digits.
Also present at this edition are 65 new stands that explain the strength of the market that many thought would take three more years to fully recover after the pandemic. Carolina Bauer, executive director of the IMEX Group said: "The global business events industry never ceases to amaze with its ability to bounce back quickly from a setback. These figures are good news for the market and bode well for business in the short term and, more importantly, for a positive economic impact in the long term. In a world experiencing so much turmoil, it behooves us to focus on the underlying impact of our industry: bringing people together for deeper human connections and mutual benefits. We are mindful of that as we do business here this week."
With more than 70,000 meetings planned between more than 4,000 buyers and 3,400 exhibiting companies in more than 360 booths, IMEX America 2023 aims for an exceptional week of negotiations, networking, growth and professional development.
