Ibero-American Crafts Fair opens its doors in Cuba

The XII Ibero-American Crafts Fair "Iberoarte" is sponsored by the Cuban Fund of Cultural Goods and is considered one of the most important in Latin America.
It allows national and international artistic exchange and the arrival of international tourists.
With Mexico as guest of honor, the XII Ibero-American Crafts Fair "Iberoarte", an event that promotes access to the creations of that country in this eastern city, begins today until October 22.
The Expo Holguin fairgrounds, venue of the event, will host more than 60 exhibitors from countries like Ecuador, Argentina, Russia and Peru, who will exhibit and sell distinctive articles of the traditional autochthonous art.
The Fair will also be attended by creators from the province of the same name, Havana, Guantanamo and Las Tunas, and a business round will be held for exhibitors to exchange business experiences.

Among the planned activities is the inauguration of the Lote space, a collateral plaza dedicated to the visual arts, on October 11 at the Fausto Cristo Gallery of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (Uneac).
The exhibition "Photographs of Nature" by Yoandris Sarmiento is also expected to be held at the Pernik Hotel.
At the closing gala, to be held at the Bariay Cultural Center, the Iberoarte 2023 Grand Prize and the awards in the categories of Best Stand and Best Work will be presented.
