The city of Valencia, Spain, will host the 35th edition of the World Tourism Film Awards. On November 22, at the Red Sea Auditorium of the Oceanogràfic València, will be held this event in which the best of the world tourism film and advertising of 2023 will be awarded.
The World Tourism Film Awards will bring to the city personalities from the tourism and audiovisual industry to receive the prestigious title of "Best Tourism Film of the Year" in five thematic categories, including Promotion of Cities, Regions, and Countries, Tourism Products, and Tourism Services.
To achieve the title of World's Best Tourism Film, more than 3,000 promotional videos from some 50 countries participated in the CIFFT 2023 Circuit, a unique competition that brings together corporate and tourism film festivals from around the world to award the best audiovisual productions in the tourism industry.
Last year, the World Tourism Film Awards showcased the immense talent in tourism video production. Winners included videos from Business Iceland, Qatar Tourism, Tourism Australia, as well as Spanish productions from Agencia Catalana de Turismo, Madrid Destino, Turismo Andalucía, and Visit Valencia, among others.
Organized by the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT), Visit Valencia, and the Valencian Community, this event has established itself as the main platform for recognizing excellence in the field of tourism video production. This year's edition also has the support of the Oceanogràfic València and Primus Hotel.
The CIFFT (International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals), an affiliate member of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), is a globally recognized platform dedicated to promoting excellence in tourism-related content. The CIFFT Circuit aims to celebrate the creativity and effectiveness of tourism campaigns, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing within the industry. The competition is endorsed by the European Travel Commission (ETC), Central America Tourism Agency (CATA), Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), Skal International, and is supported by the Tourism and Society Think Tank (TSTT).
