WTE Miami 2023 announces list of speakers

WTE Miami 2023, of which the Tourism and Society Think Tank and Global Journey Consulting are strategic partners., expects thousands of attendees and exhibitors, an exciting line-up of speakers and programming for the three-day event taking place at the Miami Airport Convention Center June 13-15, 2023.
Expanding opportunities for travel and tourism industry brands and companies to build high-value relationships with influential national and international travel professionals, WTE attendees can expect to hear from some of the travel industry's most influential voices and participate in thought-provoking panel discussions. Attendees are encouraged to further deliberate in one-on-one meetings or workshops and gain valuable insights and strategies that will propel their businesses to the next level.

Some of the keynote speakers invited to the show include Ralph Cutié, Director and CEO of the Miami-Dade Aviation Department; Rolando Aedo, Chief Operating Officer of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau; Peter Cerdá, Regional Vice President of IATA; Edmund Bartlett, Minister of Tourism of Jamaica; Juan Ignacio Steta, Worldwide President of Skal International; Gary Sadler, Executive Vice President of Sandals Resorts; Rick Sasso, President of MSC Cruises USA, among many others.

Programme and panels
The confirmed programme and panels for WTE Miami include a major State of the Industry session that will focus on current trends in the travel industry. Another important session will focus on Top Trends in Travel: Equity and Diversity Inclusion, Medical Tourism, Adventure and Expedition, and Educational Programme Travel, which will consider the different demographics of travellers, as well as the reasons why travellers choose specific destinations. Other relevant sessions include: The Importance of Tourism as a Driver of Economic and Social Development; International Cruise CEO Panel; The Evolution of the Commercial Flight Experience: From Legacy to Low Cost; Hotels: Industry and Sustainability; and an OTA Panel: The Future of Travel in a Post-Pandemic World.
