Canada removes visa requirement for citizens of four Latin American countries

The measure is part of the Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) programme and is now in effect, according to Foreign Affairs Canada. 

The processing time for the entry permit, valid for a stay of up to six months, is shortened for those who have held a Canadian visa in the last 10 years or have a valid non-resident visa in the United States.

In addition to completing the corresponding form, you must have a valid passport and a valid e-mail address. Payment, which is non-refundable, can be made by Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit or prepaid card, a MasterCard or Visa debit card, or a Union Pay transaction.
