Meet Ukraine at fitur'2023
12-01-23
Meet Ukraine will be presented as a mechanism for tourism and trade cooperation at Fitur from 16 to 20 January.
Mariana Oleskiv, President of the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine and Pavlo Kukhta, former Minister of Economic Development and Trade, will be present.
The war in Ukraine is almost a year old and this does not prevent the constant search for solutions, on this occasion by focusing on tourism as a vehicle for development and understanding between peoples.
Under this premise, the Tourism and Society Think Tank - TSTT (www.tourismandsocietytt.com), the Polytechnic University of Valencia with its flagship project O-CITY.org and the University of Applied Sciences of Dresden (Germany) will present the Meet Ukraine programme at FITUR, accompanied by Ms. Mariana Oleskiv, President of the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine and Mr. Pavlo Kukhta, former Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.
Ms. Mariana Oleskiv, Mr. Pavlo Kukhta, and the heads of the promoting institutions, will respond to the busy schedule of meetings, press conferences, interviews, signing of multilateral and commercial cooperation agreements, etc., with the aim of making known the current situation in Ukraine in areas of development such as the current situation of professionals and the national tourism industry, historical heritage affected by the war, infrastructure, and others.
During the days of FITUR, a number of business meetings have been scheduled with Spanish and international business organisations. FITUR is also collaborating with Ukraine through a stand where it will be able to centralise and respond to all those professionals and institutions that come to visit.
In this context, Ukraine is taking another step towards the recovery of a country at war and is relying on cooperation mechanisms and reconstruction programmes thanks to the support of leading actions such as Meet Ukraine.
