By 2030, many of the Kingdom's announced mega-projects will become reality as millions of people from around the world flock to Saudi Arabia and some of the human rights concerns present today may be history. Saudi Arabia opened its borders to the world in 2019, in just four years the Kingdom has become a fashionable destination, fascinating for its culture, history, wealth and development.

At its inception, the World Exposition was a gathering of countries focused on sharing the material progress and technological advances achieved since the industrial revolution. The first World's Fair was held in London, England, in 1851. The event was so popular that it was subsequently repeated in different host countries around the world, making it an event that records the development and legacy of nations around the world.

Saudi Arabia has long been committed to sustainability and World Expo 2030 will showcase carbon neutrality. The fair will include a sustainability solution currently under development, to be presented in 2025 and showcased at the Expo focused on reducing carbon emissions and protecting the oceans and the planet itself.
