The official launch event was attended by important personalities from the world of these sectors, as well as media and specialised press.

During this presentation, the organisers of MIAD unveiled the details of what will be one of the most eagerly awaited fairs in Madrid in the coming years.

Presentation event of MIAD - Madrid Inside Art & Design Sergio Sánchez, Ángel Rivero Paz, Alejandro Zaia and David Jimenez.

The capital joins other major cities in the world that have fairs of international prestige. MIAD is expected to be a point of reference for the art and design world in Spain, and the world.

Responsible for this project are the directors of the Marbella Design & Art fair, Sergio Sánchez and David Jiménez, both leading experts in this type of event, together with a proven team and a wide range of top international advisors.

Behind MIAD are Alejandro Zaia and Ángel Rivero, founders of major art developments, art and design fairs and exhibitions, such as PINTA New York and London, Marbella Design & Art and local firms such as Shelum Bautista, all promoters, collectors and lovers of design and contemporary art.

The fair will have more than 1,500 square metres, in an open-plan space that has been designed by the same team as the prestigious Marbella Design & Art fair known for being the most important on the Costa del Sol, hosting more than 250 exhibitors, including interior designers and brands, in its last edition.

MIAD will be a different and daring set up, which defies the common structures that are usually seen in this type of events, taking into account the design, logistics, provides ease of assembly and disassembly, as well as comfort for touring.

The structure of mini-exhibitions that the spaces will exhibit, provide an experience of continuous discovery, including workshops of collaborations between speakers, as well as high-level academic activities that will undoubtedly leave an important learning, achieving a dynamic experience for attendees.

In this first edition, the estimated audience will be approximately 20,000 people, with a duration of 11 days, considered as the perfect period of time for participants and quality public to attend and take advantage of this wonderful experience.

There is no doubt that it will be an experience that will give a lot to talk about, the first edition of something never seen before lands in Madrid.
