Japan to welcome international visitors from October 11

The Government of Japan has announced a policy to resume the entry of individual travellers for tourist purposes from 11 October. The JNTO hopes to welcome individual travellers returning to Japan with the long-awaited lifting of entry restrictions.

The resumption of individual travel to Japan and the visa waiver, as well as the removal of the daily arrivals limit, will allow international visitors to enjoy Japan in more ways than in the past two and a half years.

These measures are long-awaited news for tourists from all over the world who have been looking forward to visiting Japan - we look forward to welcoming them!
