WTM London launches app to enhance the experience

World Travel Market London has announced that, for the first time, visitors, exhibitors, buyers and media will have access to a customised app to help all attendees plan their experience at the event and make the most of their time at World Travel Market.

The app, which is now available on the App Store and Google Play for iOS and Android devices respectively, has been designed with a number of familiar features and some exciting new additions. The conference programme, for example, can be filtered by date, stage and topic, with the ability to bookmark and save sessions to attend. The application includes biographies of some 250 speakers who will be speaking on the four stages - Technology, Future, Knowledge and Sustainability - over the three days of the event.

Exhibitors can also be searched and filtered by product category and geographic region, so visitors can find the exhibitors that best suit their needs. All exhibitors, buyers and media can access their WTM ConnectMe programme through the app, allowing them to organise their schedule and ensure their time on the show floor is productive.

At such a large event, navigation is of paramount importance. One of the features that will help with this will be the interactive floor plan with orientation functions. The floor plan will be available on the WTM London app a few days before the event opens on Monday 7 November.

In addition, there will be live links to social media channels so that users can talk about what they see and do at the show. There is also a "WTM Digital Gift Gag", where users can access free gifts and offers from exhibiting companies.
