XV International Tourism Fair of Venezuela 2022 is Inaugurated

The 15th edition of the International Tourism Fair of Venezuela (Fitven) was inaugurated at the Buddha Bar Beach Hotel in Lechería, Anzoátegui state. This tourism event will be held from 24 to 28 November.

The Minister of People's Power for Tourism, Alí Padrón, led the inauguration and received national and international tour operators, who will take advantage of the opportunity to make exchanges, which will boost the country's economy.

"More than 26 countries, 389 tour operators, national companies, tourism communities, airlines, 125 tourism service providers, entrepreneurs and businessmen will be present at Fitven," he said.

For his part, the governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis Marcano, emphasised that "Fitven and the Anzoátegui te Enamora Zone will be an extraordinary success, from the point of view of the brotherhood and fraternity of our peoples and the agreements that are reached with investments, which will allow the development of tourism".

On this occasion, the fair brings together more than 15 countries from Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. Representatives and diplomats have expressed their intention to strengthen alliances for the development and growth of inbound tourism.

Fitven is considered the only tourism platform for establishing strategic alliances in terms of marketing, investment, connectivity, promotion and positioning, which gives Venezuela the opportunity to become a global tourism power.
