Main attractions

Only 20 minutes separate Miraflores from the Historic Centre of Lima. Here, the buildings surrounding the Plaza de Armas seem to be frozen in time: many of them preserve the architecture that inspired the Lima of the Viceroyalty. In this area you will find the Cathedral of Lima, as well as different churches and monasteries rich in history and traditions, which maintain their original splendour.

If adventure is your thing, a paragliding trip along the Costa Verde could be a great starting point, overlooking the sea of South America's only coastal capital. San Martin contains Peru's unique natural gems. The adventure begins at the Ahuashiyacu waterfall, located 15 kilometres from the city of Tarapoto, in the Cordillera Escalera Regional Conservation Area. This waterfall is about 40 metres high and stands out for its beautiful floral decoration.

You can also visit the Palestina cave, tour the city of Juanjuí and start a guided tour of the Abiseo River National Park, where you will find the cocoa goodness thanks to the Cacao Route and its agricultural areas.
