Max Haberstroh
Max Haberstroh is a Senior International Consultant specializing in sustainable tourism, with more than four decades of experience in tourism management, planning, and development across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and South America. He is a founding member of the World Tourism Network, a member of the Tourism and Society Think Tank and the Meaningful Tourism Centre, and a contributor to various think tanks and specialized media outlets.
His professional career includes senior leadership positions within tourism promotion organizations, destination management associations, and international cooperation projects. He has worked with institutions such as GIZ, CIM, Conservation International, and the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization, contributing to initiatives focused on sustainable tourism development, governance, and public-private partnerships.
