Arturo Moreno

Arturo Moreno Arrieta is a specialist in international development cooperation and sustainable tourism, with extensive experience in the design, management, and evaluation of projects across Spain, Latin America, and the Caribbean. He holds a degree in International Studies, a Master’s Degree in Integrated Tourism Destination Development, and a Master’s Degree in Historical Heritage, combining a strong academic background with a distinguished professional career.

He has worked as a consultant for international organizations and institutions such as the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), public administrations, and private entities in Venezuela, Panama, Peru, and Spain. His expertise covers tourism product development, community-based rural tourism, strategic planning, heritage management, and sustainable local development.

In addition to his consulting work, he has participated in research and academic cooperation projects between Latin America and Europe, teaching postgraduate courses and specialized training programs in tourism planning and project formulation.
