Percy Ac Pangan is a leading professional in the cocoa sector in Central America, with vast experience in leading regional and national cooperation projects in countries such as Italy, Belgium and at the European Union level.
He has worked intensively on strengthening sustainable cocoa production in smallholder organisations and private farms, promoting inclusive markets that connect producers, intermediaries and customers.
Its work has focused on improving the environment for MSME cocoa producers, processors and traders, through dialogue and knowledge management platforms in the region. It has also promoted the quality of Central American cocoa, highlighting local traditions in international markets. He is currently promoting the Cocoa and Chocolate Route in Guatemala.
His family business, BEPS International, S.A., offers support services to the agricultural sector, especially in cocoa, and his brand Nuyaak develops tourism and sensory experiences related to cocoa.
