Additionally, during the event in Madrid, National Coordinator certificates will be awarded to representatives from Ecuador, Brazil, Colombia and Australia, reaffirming the global reach of this alliance.

An inclusive and sustainable mission

ATACC is based on principles of universal design, accessibility and sustainable tourism, promoting regional cooperation, research and the implementation of inclusive policies. Its mission is to ensure equal opportunities for all people to enjoy tourism in a dignified, equitable and autonomous manner.

Its strategic objectives include:

Short, medium and long term goals

ATACC plans to establish three observatories in its first year, hold awareness-raising events and consolidate a regional cooperation network to promote inclusive legislation and funding for accessibility projects.

Global impact and international collaboration

ATACC seeks to empower communities, foster equity and contribute to the 2030 Agenda, aligning its actions with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It also invites the entire tourism industry to join this initiative to create a more inclusive and accessible world.
