ATACC joins ANATO 2025 Tourism Showcase to promote accessible tourism in Colombia and Latin America

19-02-25

The Alianza de Turismo Accessible (ATACC) confirms its participation in the ANATO 2025 Tourism Showcase, the most important event of the sector in Colombia and one of the main events in Latin America. The fair, which will be held from 26-28 February at CORFERIAS, Bogotá, will bring together key players in the tourism industry to strengthen the development of the sector.

ATACC, currently made up of Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Spain and Costa Rica, seeks to consolidate its presence in the region and take advantage of this space to strengthen its relationship with organisations, companies, associations and governments interested in accessible and inclusive tourism.

A commitment to inclusion in tourism

Accessible tourism is a fundamental pillar to ensure equitable experiences for all people, including people with disabilities, older adults and families with young children. ATACC is committed to positioning accessibility as a priority on the tourism agenda, promoting practices and policies to remove barriers in destinations, accommodation, airports and transport.

At ANATO 2025, ATACC will be present at the Costa Rica stand and will have an agenda of meetings with the National Coordinator in Colombia, Luz Marina Pérez. During these meetings, the projects and strategies that the alliance is promoting in the region will be presented, as well as the specific actions for Colombia as a founding country.

An invitation to join the change

ATACC calls on all organisations, companies and governmental entities interested in being part of the change towards a more inclusive and sustainable tourism. ANATO 2025 will be the ideal opportunity to learn first-hand how the alliance works, its impact and its vision for the future.
