Perth to become global tourism epicenter at WTTC World Summit 2024

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has announced that the next World Summit will be held in Perth (Boorloo), Western Australia, from October 8-10, 2024. This major tourism industry event will be hosted by Tourism Western Australia (TWA) and will establish itself as one of the most prominent events on the international travel and tourism calendar.

The WTTC Global Summit, which under the theme “Ancient Earth: New Perspectives” will put Australia's rich cultural heritage and natural wonders in the spotlight, promises to be a key platform for innovation and sustainable growth in the tourism industry.

Julia Simpson, president and CEO of WTTC, has underlined the importance of the event and chooses Perth as the perfect setting for the summit. Simpson noted, “The WTTC Perth Summit will bring together the leaders who are shaping the future of tourism.
