In one of the most important commercial and tourism promotion events in Latin America, 51 stands from the 32 departments, municipalities, districts, guilds and entities of the sector will participate, which will be financed and co-financed with a budget of $6,289 million pesos from the parafiscal tax paid by the tourism value chain.
Likewise, this year more than 50,000 attendees are expected for the 43rd version, who will be able to learn first-hand about the wide range of experiences in nature, adventure, handicraft, ecological, community, gastronomic, sun and beach tourism, among others, framed in the promotion strategy 'Colombia, the country of beauty', with which the Government plans to attract 7.5 million non-resident tourists by 2026.
The tourist attractions of the 18 towns that are part of the Network of Heritage Towns will also be exhibited, and there will be an exclusive space for the Territorios Turísticos de Paz, a bet for 50 tourist service providers from PDET (Development Programs with a Territorial Approach) municipalities, victims of the armed conflict and reincorporated people to present their tourist products as an alternative for travelers to enjoy.
