The International Tourism Fair of Latin America opens its doors in Buenos Aires

The International Network of Religious Tourism Destinations, a proposal developed by the Tourism and Society Think Tank, will be presented at the INCATUR Auditorium on Sunday 01 October at 15.00 h.
From 30 September to 3 October, FIT 2023 becomes the epicentre of the tourism industry in Latin America, offering visitors the opportunity to explore national and international destinations, buy unmissable offers and travel packages, attend talks, tastings, shows, performances and participate in interactive activities.
With an impressive array of national and international exhibitors, the 27th edition of the International Tourism Fair of Latin America, FIT 2023, kicked off today in the Argentine capital. More than 1,400 national and 400 international exhibitors representing more than 45 countries gathered at this world-renowned event. In addition, Argentina's 24 provinces were present to showcase the best of their tourism offer.
Andrés Deyá, president of FIT, highlighted the importance of this fair for the Argentinean tourism industry, emphasising that tourism is one of the most important industries in the country and that FIT is a must-attend event for all players in the sector. "The enormous present and all the potential of our sector will be present at the most important tourism fair in Latin America and one of the five most important in the world," said Deyá.
The fair will be held in two stages. On the weekend, Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October, from 14:00 to 21:00, FIT will be open to the general public. During these days, visitors will have the opportunity to live the experiences and attractions offered by national and international destinations, as well as access to special offers to plan their next holiday.
Presentation of the International Network of Religious Tourism Destinations
The International Network of Religious Tourism Destinations will also be presented on Sunday 1 at 15.00. This proposal has been developed by the Working Group of the Tourism and Society Think Tank, led by the company Empresur from Argentina, and directed by Antonio Santos, president of the TSTT, with the participation of the company LatanOne Full Agency in the communication and marketing section, and important representatives of tourist destinations in the world, travel agencies and related tourism companies, academics and representatives of the main religions of the world, all of them.
The presentation of the International Network of Religious Tourism Destinations will be presented in the INCATUR Auditorium, and will have as speakers Alejandro Lastra, President of the Cordoba Tourism Agency and Antonio Santos del Valle, President of Tourism and Society Think Tank - TSTT, and will be presented by the Cordoba Tourism Agency (Argentina).
From Monday 2 October until Tuesday 3 October, FIT will open its doors exclusively for sector professionals, from 10:00 to 19:00 hours. During these days, the FIT Business Rounds will take place, with the "Visit Argentina Connect" initiative. This initiative will have 128 desks and pre-arranged appointments of 20 minutes rotating through system agendas, providing an ideal space for networking and the conclusion of business agreements.
In an exclusive space where more than 80 hosted buyers and buyers from around the world meet with local service providers to project and deepen the inbound tourism marketing of Argentina. Argentina Fashion and Travel
One of the most awaited proposals in the framework of FIT 2023 is the fourth edition of "Argentina Fashion and Travel," an event that fuses fashion and travel in a unique way. On Saturday 30 September at 6:30 p.m., outstanding designers, entities, brands and renowned models will gather in this show that promises to be an unforgettable experience for fashion and travel lovers.
During the traditional fashion show, the attendees will be able to enjoy not only the creations of the Argentinean fashion references, but also to get to know the original author's design of the participating provinces. The catwalk will become a showcase for Argentine creativity and talent, fusing the world of fashion with the diversity of tourist destinations that the country has to offer.
To add even more sparkle to the event, the fourth edition of "Argentina Fashion and Travel" will be hosted by Nara Ferragut and tourism journalist Hernán Lirio, who will guide viewers through this fascinating mix of fashion and travel.
