American Airlines announced plans to elevate the passenger experience this summer through improved food offerings, better connectivity and new entertainment options.

Travelers flying on American’s transcontinental Flagship service will have a new premium entree option, the Plant-Based Bulgogi Noodle Bowl. Customers flying in premium cabins to Europe from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport can also enjoy dishes from Avli on the Park.

In addition, the airline’s Buy on Board program received a summer refresh, with a Fruit and Cheese Plate and Breakfast Bag launching for Main Cabin passengers this month.

As for high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity, American revealed passengers would have access to the internet connection on more aircraft than any other carrier, and T-Mobile customers will be able to use the service for free by July.

“Our customers are the inspiration behind everything we do, and American is committed to consistently deliver a world-class experience for them,” Vice President Kim Cisek said.

“We know customers want a convenient travel experience throughout their journey on American and to arrive at their destination satisfied and ready to explore, a focus we keep in mind when refreshing and creating new experiences for them to enjoy on the ground and in the skies,” Cisek continued.
