According to the Marrakech Call for Action on the digitisation of SMEs published on the occasion of the 117th session of the UNWTO Executive Council, "[...] investments in digitisation and their cross-sectoral impact have a multiplier potential not only to strengthen major global and regional strategic projects, but also to stimulate the recovery of tourism and safeguard employment by supporting the survival of SMEs [...]".

At Global Journey Consulting we believe these words are true and, in fact, we have been working for a couple of years on the digitisation of the travel and tourism industry. To this end, we have created Wanderlust Global Life (www.wanderlust-global.com), a company focused on helping local, national and regional governments to find the best technological solutions to digitise the travel and tourism industry.

The main objective is to make technology accessible and affordable for all players in the sector, while generating sustainable business models and driving positive impacts at the local level.
