The British newspaper Daily Mail reports that these fake spare parts were found in aircraft of the Irish low cost airline during maintenance checks carried out in Texas (USA) and Brazil during the last few months.

In addition, major U.S. airlines such as Delta Air Lines, American Airlines and Southwest Airlines have also found suspicious parts without official certification on their aircraft.

Ryanair's CEO, Michael O'Leary, has assured in statements reported by the aforementioned media that the fake components came from the British supplier AOG Technics. Likewise, aviation control bodies in the United Kingdom, the United States and Europe have accused the company of supplying engine parts for Boeing and Airbus aircraft with false certification documents.
