Dubai's Burj Khalifa the world's most popular tourist attraction

In second place is the Taj Mahal in India, followed by Niagara Falls.
According to Switch On Business, Dubai's Burj Khalifa has become the world's most popular tourist attraction. The tower is visited by 17 million people every year, generating an annual revenue of $621 million from ticket sales.
Switch on Business analysed the search volumes and average number of visitors for more than 150 of the world's most popular and well-known landmarks to find out which ones generate the most attention worldwide.
The 828-metre tower, three times the height of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, receives almost 22 million Google searches and approximately 17 million visitors per year. The Taj Mahal, in second place, also registered
22 million Google searches and 7.5 million visitors. Niagara Falls is visited by around 13 million people a year and gathers more than 1.2 million searches.
A visitor to the Burj Khalifa can experience multiple sensations, such as climbing 800 metres in less than 60 seconds, seeing the whole city from above and much more. Its sheer height, architectural excellence and breathtaking views make it a tempting tourist magnet. During the summer, rush hour is from 4pm to 7pm, and in winter, from 3pm to 6pm. People prefer the peak hours because of the view of the day, sunset and night.
According to the official website of the Burj Khalifa, the entrance fee to the Sky View observatory starts at Dh per person and can go up to more than Dh750.
