Greater Miami Conventions & Visitors Bureau launches new and improved website

The new and improved site will feature the latest in personalisation and artificial intelligence, as well as innovative immersive experiences. Visitors actively planning a trip to Miami and Miami Beach will now have ultra-fast site searches aided by artificial intelligence designed to learn from user behaviour in order to deliver the most relevant content.

The website will allow dynamic personalisation of content based on user behaviour. Newly implemented keyword tags allow users to browse the site based on their topics of interest, helping travellers achieve a more personalised experience.

The site's new people-based content will target all types of travellers, whether on holiday, for work, for relaxation or otherwise.   The shift from "there's something for everyone" to "there's something for you" is designed to resonate in a deeper way and inspire travel.  David Whitaker, president and CEO of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) said: "The new website will make it easier for users to engage, providing them with dynamic resources that uncover the best of the destination.  We invite the world to learn more by visiting and exploring MiamiandMiamiBeach.com."

The ability to offer resources to visitors, tourists and even residents creates a more seamless travel planning experience, which is why the new website provides access to Localhood Google Stories, TripAdvisor visitor reviews, OpenTable restaurant reservations and Threshold 360° virtual tours.   Similarly, business travellers will have access to enhanced features including detailed partner listings and access to meeting space details, floor plans and image galleries.  They will also be able to search for hotels and venues according to their needs, while GMCVB's in-house sales team is empowered to create customised web pages for specific business traveller prospects.
