Partnership agreement

TSTT and AEPT Sign Collaboration Agreement

Tourism and Society Think Tank and the Spanish Association of Tourism Professionals signed a collaboration agreement on 20 June with the aim of strengthening relations between the two organisations and creating synergies that will benefit their members.

The organisation and convening of informative conferences, forums of interest, seminars, events or activities of a tourist nature will be some of the actions to be carried out by both entities and which, they assure, will be a meeting point for professionals from different sectors in which they will not only serve to acquire relevant information on the tourism industry, but also to network for all, while at the same time acquiring a commitment to study new collaboration projects to extend greater services to their associates.

The signing took place between Mr. Félix José España, legal representative of TSTT and Mr. Santiago Vallejo, President of AEPT, kicking off what AEPT and TSTT are convinced will be a prosperous and long-lasting relationship.

The Spanish Association of Tourism Professionals watches over and protects the professional interests of each and every one of the men and women in the Spanish tourism sector, as well as the studies in Tourism. A unique, necessary, exclusively professional, objective and independent Association. One of its basic objectives is to promote the identity and social recognition of tourism professionals, as well as to provide its members with the tools to facilitate their professional development. For the AEPT, the best defence of the profession is to achieve society's recognition of the social role played by tourism professionals.

Tourism and Society Think Tank (TSTT) aims to analyse and provide innovative, independent and accurate answers to such a dynamic reality as the one we live in, and its correspondence with the needs of the tourism industry and the professionals who form it, with special relevance to the analysis of the relationship between tourism and social development, within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals - Agenda 2030 of the United Nations.
