Luz Marina Pérez

Luz Marina Pérez Naranjo, is a lawyer with a specialization in Social Security Law and a master's degree in Disability and Social Inclusion. Her professional career has focused on legal advice, public management and accessibility and social inclusion, with emphasis on guaranteeing the rights of persons with disabilities and caregivers.

She has served as care liaison of the District System of Care of Bogota and referent of disability in various public and private entities, including governors, mayors, non-governmental organizations and civil society organizations of people with disabilities and caregivers, in advisory roles, litigation, training, formulation and coordination of projects and inclusive public policies.

She currently leads Colombia Turismo Accesible, the first specialized accessible tourism operator in Colombia, contributing her expertise as a tourism entrepreneur and on accessibility and social inclusion; she is also the executive director of Cooperativa Comunidad Cuidado, the first worker and care economy cooperative in Colombia.

In the academic field, she is a teacher, researcher and lecturer on issues of social security law, disability, orphan - rare diseases, accessibility and social inclusion with numerous papers and international and national publications and as a consultant to the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
